Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, by J.K. Rowling

Summary: Harry, Ron, and Hermoine start heading after Horcruxes in spite of having no idea where to look. After lots of following hunches that either turn out to be right, lead straight into an encounter with Voldy, or both, they head to Hogwarts to find the last Horcrux before encountering some crazy plot twists, including Harry's supposed death. And then Harry defeats Voldy after a long speech that made me wonder why Voldy didn't just kill Harry in the middle of it. And they all live happily ever after except for those who don't.

Reaction: Overall, I rather enjoyed the book. This might or might not be skewed by the fact that the last part of the book was very exciting and omg and the fact that I read the first half of the book the day it came out... Which is part of the reason I want to reread it: because I'm not sure how much I've forgotten already. I'm kinda amazed how often things end up working out quite conveniently, Harry getting saved at the last minute by some friend or other, getting captured turning out to be helpful in the long run, etc. Is it really the case that every hunch Harry has either turns out to be helpful or lead them into danger, or is that just how it seems because the book glosses over/neglects to mention the times he was wrong?

Some unanswered questions:
-Why was Draco the master of the Elder Wand for awhile? After spending way too much time dwelling on this question I think I know how Harry came to the conclusion, but I have no idea why it must be so.
-Is the sword Neville pulled out of the hat the same on Griphook took from Harry? If so, how? What does Griphook think about that?
-What happens to the Dursleys after Voldy's demise? What about Hermoine's parents?
-Who are Victoire's parents?
